Sometimes our dreams of becoming a parent do not go according to plan.  Whether you are dealing with the indescribable pain of pregnancy loss, navigating a high-risk pregnancy, or adjusting to becoming a parent after an “easy” pregnancy–the family building years sometimes present us with uncomfortable reminders of how little is in our control. While parenting is deeply rewarding, it is not always filled with happiness, sunshine and rainbows. Allow me to journey with you. A graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Social Work, I am a licensed clinical social worker that has been practicing psychotherapy since 2015. I have also obtained advanced clinical training in trauma and maternal mental health.

Personally, I am a full-term pregnancy loss survivor with two living children. I have navigated the harrowing journey of pregnancy after loss and understand how crucial it is to feel heard by your providers and find practical ways to cope with the ups and downs of pregnancy and motherhood. Clients have described my approach as authentic, warm and down to earth.  In our work together, I will combine use of evidenced based practices with realistic coping strategies and “mom-hacks” to help you figure out how to make motherhood work for you. Most importantly, I want you to feel heard, seen and understood. When we are together, you can always show up just as you are and allow yourself to simply “be.” I am here for you. You are not alone.
