Jessica Buescher, LMHC (IN), LCPC (IL), IECMHC, ATR-BC
Therapist
Parenting, grief, identity shifts, and trauma can all leave us feeling overwhelmed, unseen, or unsure of how to move forward. Therapy with me is a relational, reflective space—one rooted in deep attunement, creative exploration, and nervous system support. Clients often come to me during seasons of transition: early parenthood, loss, burnout, or uncertainty in connection with a child. My approach offers space for clarity and self-understanding while building the internal and relational capacity needed to support meaningful change.
I bring over 15 years of experience in the field and hold certifications in DIR/Floortime therapy, Brainspotting, and Art Therapy. As a trained Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant (IECMHC), I specialize in supporting caregivers in building secure, attuned relationships. I work with parents of children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, emotional dysregulation, and developmental concerns. I am particularly passionate about supporting parents of children with special needs and those involved in foster care or adoption—offering space to process complex emotions, repair attachment wounds, and reconnect with their own sense of wholeness. My therapeutic approach integrates trauma-informed care, somatic awareness, mindfulness, and creative expression. Whether through reflective parent-child work, individual therapy, or nervous system regulation strategies, I support clients in building greater emotional resilience, insight, and relational depth. Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that healing happens in relationships.
This work is also deeply personal. I’m a mother of three—an 18-year-old in college, a 15-year-old, and an 8-year-old currently in my care through foster placement. Over the years, I’ve navigated adoption, special needs parenting, and the recent transition of foster twins I supported from the NICU through toddlerhood. These lived experiences continue to shape the way I hold space—with humility, empathy, and a grounded presence that welcomes the full emotional landscape of parenting, healing, and becoming.
