Combining my professional expertise with personal insight as a mom of two, I understand the unique challenges women face in balancing self-care and establishing healthy boundaries during their transition into motherhood. Leveraging my specialized training in perinatal and
maternal mental health, I offer emotional support tailored to the unique challenges of pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood. Holding space for my clients in a non-judgmental way is a fundamental aspect of my practice, allowing them to unload and to process their emotions and
experiences fully.
I recognize the invisible mental load carried by moms and acknowledge the real burnout that you may be experiencing. By offering professional support to help you achieve purpose, insight, healing, and meaning, we can address those intrusive thoughts, feelings of loneliness, isolation, self-doubt, self-blame, or any other areas of focus that are individualized to you.
My approach includes implementable strategies and tools from cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and stress management to help clients manage symptoms and improve their mental well-being. A few components are providing psychoeducation to clients about perinatal mood disorders, emphasizing the importance of self-care and self-prioritization, and to help identify resources such as support groups and relatable literature.
Recognizing the impact of maternal mental health on the entire family, I will offer family therapy and guidance to partners. Through continuous support and follow-up, I aim to validate clients’ experiences, encourage self-care, and foster a supportive community to ensure they feel empowered and understood throughout their journey.
