A Supportive Hand For Postpartum Dad's

Therapy can be an incredibly helpful tool for postpartum support for dads and partners who are navigating the challenges of early parenthood. We offer a supportive and confidential environment to explore and process the complex emotions, such as anxiety, stress, and self-doubt, that can accompany this transition.

A few topics we can explore:

Division of labor

Supporting women

Mental load of parenthood

Bonding with baby

Intimacy concerns

What a Session Surrounding Dad and Partner Support May Look Like:

Sessions are typically 45-55 minutes. Our first session will focus on things you are concerned about currently, as well as learning a little more about you. We will work together to determine goals and ways that therapy can help you move through this big life change as your best self.

Partners can often feel neglected during pregnancy and early parenthood. Therapy can help.

Our therapists are trained to work with those struggling with these issues, and many are parents themselves. We want people to feel comfortable and feel they can talk openly about these issues without being judged. We will work together to determine issues and concerns, and get clear about how therapy can best help you feel better. A big part of therapy is working on emotional regulation, as well as building coping strategies.

Navigating Postpartum Together

Postpartum isn’t just a mom’s journey—it affects dads too. The transition to fatherhood can bring overwhelming emotions, stress, and unexpected challenges. Therapy offers a safe space for dads to process these feelings, build confidence, and develop tools to manage anxiety, mood changes, and new responsibilities.

Seeking help isn’t a sign of weakness—it’s an act of strength for you and your family. By prioritizing your mental well-being, you become the steady, supportive dad your partner and child need. Because when dads thrive, families thrive.

Take care of you. For them.
