Matrescence Therapy, PLLC is a growing private practice dedicated to supporting women and parents in Illinois throughout their fertility journey, pregnancy, postpartum period, and transition into motherhood. We provide a compassionate, safe space for clients facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, parenting struggles, life transitions, perinatal loss, fertility issues, and stress management.

Position Overview:
We are seeking licensed clinicians (LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, PsyD) who are passionate about specializing in perinatal mental health and enjoy working with women and families during some of life’s most transformative times. This is an exciting opportunity to join a niche private practice and contribute to its growth while making a meaningful impact on the lives of those navigating fertility, pregnancy, new parenthood, and loss.

Ideal candidates will be able to provide individual and couples therapy, using a trauma-informed approach to support clients through a variety of emotional and psychological challenges. Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and couples therapy to women and parents experiencing fertility struggles, pregnancy challenges, postpartum adjustments, and transitions into parenthood.
• Support clients navigating depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting, and life transitions.
• Provide grief support to clients experiencing perinatal loss and guide them through emotional healing.
• Maintain a caseload of 15-25 clients per week, delivering high-quality, empathetic care.
• Engage in case consultation and clinical supervision for pre-licensed therapists.
• Offer stress management techniques and life skills support for parents with complex medical needs or those facing fertility issues.
• Participate in the growth and development of the practice by offering input and feedback.

Requirements:

• Must be licensed in Illinois as an LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, or PsyD.
• Must reside in Illinois.
• Experience or strong interest in working with the perinatal population, including fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and loss.
• Experience working with couples is a plus.
• Special consideration will be given to clinicians who hold a PMH-C (Perinatal Mental Health Certification).
• Compassionate, culturally competent care is essential, and we encourage candidates who identify as POC and/or LGBTQ+ to apply.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to work independently, managing a remote caseload effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in grief counseling, particularly in relation to pregnancy loss.
• Expertise in working with parents of children with complex medical needs.
• PMH-C certification or other relevant specialized training is highly preferred.
