Working with and supporting families through some of life’s most difficult transitions is what led me to a deep desire to support families during one of the biggest transitions: pregnancy and parenthood. My own journey to motherhood highlighted the critical need for specialized support in perinatal mental health. I often felt alone, as though nobody ever spoke about the things I was experiencing and feeling.

Understanding the unique emotional complexities surrounding pregnancy, childbirth, and the immense identity shift of parenthood, I am passionate about ensuring that others don’t feel “alone” in their experiences. I have guided parents through child loss, supported families with children who have chronic and terminal illnesses, navigated extended hospital stays as a new parent or with other children at home, and assisted parents in grieving the loss of a “healthy” child.

I employ a combination of therapeutic techniques and real-life experiences tailored to each client and situation. Some of these approaches include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. My commitment to this work, combined with a warm and calming demeanor, provides a safe, welcoming, and validating environment to process difficult emotions. I will work alongside you to ensure that we are using the right approach to fit your unique needs.
