When I became a mom, my life changed in expected and unexpected ways. Motherhood changed so many relationships in my life: with friends, family, my partner, myself, my body and career. I have firsthand experience understanding how difficult it is to make sense of this new identity and transition. Finding and reading this bio-page is a huge step and I’d like to help you on your journey. I’m driven to help other mothers learn about themselves and understand their new roles starting during pregnancy wellness through the early years of childhood. I want to be a beacon of hope, support, and healing.

I am a Licensed Social Worker with 9 years of experience working with survivors of sexual and domestic violence, including children, women, and pregnant/parenting youth. I worked in Foster Care where I served parents who are dealing with loss, substance use disorders, and severe mental illness. While in that role and others, I’ve also worked closely with children impacted by trauma, grief, abuse/neglect, environmental and developmental challenges. I have experience conducting individual and couples’ therapy. I am additionally passionate about promoting pregnancy wellness.

I use a combination of therapeutic techniques tailored to each client I work with, as each person’s experience is unique. Some of these techniques include: Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Strengths-Based Perspective, Family Systems Theory, Mindfulness, Stress Management, and Breath Work.

If you’re up to it, let’s talk.
